SecureWater is a research project led by the Overseas Development Institute with support from DFID in the UK. In-depth case study research carried out in India, Sri Lanka and Kenya highlights some of the challenges associated with implementing demand-based approaches.
The purpose of this Decision Support Tool is to enhance the overall planning and development of demand-based approaches by highlighting the challenges faced at different levels and in different environments, and to help decision-makers adopt the most appropriate measures to meet these challenges.
